In this episode, I chatted with Brian Murray, co-founder of Cabal, a startup that helps founders send asks & updates to investors, track contributions, and scale advisor programs. Brian is also an investor and COO at Craft Ventures where he and another co-founder came up with the idea and began initial work. Cabal's investors include David Sacks and Alexis Ohanian among many others in the seed round. In this episode, we chat about how trends that led to the birth of this tool, how founders should be planning to leverage and incentivize community from early on, and how the future of equity in startups will look like.
